Filippo Trivella holds a Master in Chemical Engineering at the University of Pisa.
He has been working in the process control and optimization for the process industry since 1993.
From 1993 until 2010 Filippo covered different roles in Aspen Technology, including leading more than 120 advanced process control projects for major companies in Europe and the Middle East.
He also served as Business Development Manager for Europe and the Middle East where he participated in the closure of several multi-million euros deals with major companies.
From 2008 until 2010 he was the Director of Professional Services for both the advanced process control and engineering divisions at AspenTech.
Filippo is one of the founders of Alpha Process Control and is managing the Company. He still is significantly involved in business development and project execution activities.
Maurizio holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pisa, Italy.
He started his professional career in plant operations with Huntsman Tioxide (now Sabic) where he had the role of process and control engineer.
In 2006 he joined AspenTech where he took part in several advanced process control projects in the refining and petrochemical areas. He soon demonstrated his strong technical background becoming a project leader in 2008.
From 2008 to 2011 he led increasingly complex projects, including hydrocracking, crude units, and full ethylene plants.
A co-founder of Alpha Process Control he covers the role of technical manager with the responsibility of the execution of the projects according to the high-quality standards of the Company.
Alessandro Brambilla has been working in process control and optimization of the process industry for more than 40 years.
Professor at the Chemical Engineering department at the University of Pisa, he taught Process Control and Chemical Reactor Engineering, where an average of 70 engineers per year are trained in the use of the most common industrial packages.
He has covered multiple roles in his academic career including Head of the Chemical Engineering Department and Director of the Chemical Engineering Major.
In 1981 ha founded Contas Process Control Srl, which became a leading Company in advanced process control in Italy, providing services to major companies like ENI.
In 1998 Contas Process Control was acquired by Aspen Technology and until 2011 Alessandro was a senior advisor where he ensured that best practices were applied in the projects executed in Europe and the Middle East.
Alessandro is a founder of Alpha Process Control Srl and gives advice and guidance on business development and project execution activities.
Michela graduated in Chemical Engineering in 1992 from the University of Pisa, Italy.
She was a contract researcher at the university in the area of process control and dynamic simulation.
She joined Contas Process Control srl in 1995 where she worked mainly in the area of process simulation and inferential development.
Since 1998 when Contas was acquired by AspenTech she worked on more than 250 projects in Europe and the Middle East, developing steady-state and dynamic simulations and inferential measurements on the refining and petrochemical industry until 2010.
A founder of Alpha Process Control, she is now covering the role of Operations Manager, managing project financials, and ensuring that the Company operating objectives are met.
She is still involved in giving guidance to the teams in developing inferentials and process simulations.
